Close to the action and the water of Marina Bay, our office is based in the very heart of this culturally diverse and vibrant city-state.

What was the challenge?

Vifor Consumer Health was the product and brands division within Galenica, an integrated healthcare provider in Switzerland.

Following a high-level corporate restructure, we were asked to support a complete rebrand of the Vifor Consumer health business for the OTC market.

What was our thinking?

No doubt about it, the change of name presented a fantastic opportunity to breathe new life into existing brands across multiple therapeutic categories.

Following a sophisticated name generation process, VERFORA was chosen to spearhead the new identity.

What did we do?

We were tasked with creating the whole new corporate identity for VERFORA and making it work on the product packaging.

We immediately recognised that the existing ‘V’ visual element could be built on to develop a distinctive and ownable visual language for the new brand.

After creating the VERFORA wordmark and applying it to signage, stationery and communication materials, we set about developing the graphic architecture for packaging. We kept the local pizza delivery company busy during plenty of late nights in the studio, as we rolled out the new identity over 140 SKUs.

What did we achieve?

The new branding has a strong shelf presence with striking standout in pharmacies.

Our bold packaging has played a key role in helping establish VERFORA as the number one Consumer Health Care brand in Switzerland.

We’ve since extended our flexible identity onto several new ranges within the VERFORA portfolio of medicines, medical devices, food supplements, baby products and cosmetics.
